"Lunar Chew Year with Yusong Liu" is an episode of the premium-content podcast, Doughboys Double, hosted by Mike Mitchell and Nick Wiger. "Lunar Chew Year with Yusong Liu" was released on February 25, 2020.
Synopsis[]
We're joined by our former producer Yusong Liu to taste test snacks from Yusong's recent trip to China. Plus, we answer some listener questions!
Lunar Chew Year[]
For this episode, Yusong brings a big box of snacks from China and the Doughboys try them all!
They have two flavors of rolled-up chips (crawfish and tomato), sweet corn chips, and regular potato chips. They then move on to sample some peach gummies. They return to some chips with steak-flavored ones, and then a tomato & fish fish-shaped cracker. Next, there were some sort of chocolate crackers shaped like mushrooms. Orion Custard Pies are next, which are eggy custard cupcakes. They then have some mocha chocolate cakes. Last, some Orion Choco Marshmallow Pies.
(I usually try to do better with brands, product names, and finding images, but these were all Chinese and difficult to locate. The pictures that Nick shared on twitter are below. - ed.)
Nick and Mitch pick their top-3 favorites from the whole box. Yusong and Emma are there tasting, but don't choose their faves.
