Tim Greiving (@tgreiving) joins the 'boys to talk film scores and his new book, John Williams: A Composer's Life, before drafting their favorite Johns and Willams.
John/Williams Draft[]
The rules for this draft is you can draft Johns and/or Williams. Both first and last names count. John and Johnny are fine, but no Jonathans. Any William or Williams works, but Bills are not allowed (neither is Willem Dafoe). Also if you draft a person, you get all the actors that played that person on screen. Similarly, if you draft an actor, you get all their characters.
For the draft, they alternate picking Johns and Williams and each choose their starting five + sub (three Johns and three Williams).
Tim picked first, and then Nick went second. They were supposed to pick snake-style, but sort of fell out of order at one point.
Also while Nick was trying to decide on a John to draft, Jon Gabrus walked outside the studio, so he comes in for a second.
Mitch swaps Willam H. Macy to Nick for John F. Kennedy.
Drank or Stank[]
Naturewell Coconut Kale Smoothie
In Drank or Stank, the Doughboys try a beverage and rate it either 'Drank' or 'Stank.'
For this episode, Nick and Mitch had a Coconut Kale Smoothie from Naturewell (a juice bar in Los Angeles). Tim didn't want one.
Emma got a Creamy Strawberry Coconut Smoothie too (also a Drank) and Amelia had an "Immunity" Shot.
