Synopsis[]
In celebration of Presidents' Day, the Doughboys pick out their own Mount Rushmore lineup. Then, we sit down with Ike Shehadeh, founder and owner of Ike's Love & Sandwiches to discuss chain expanding, try out some new sandwiches, and brainstorm what the "Doughboys Sandwich" would be like.
Mount Presidentmore 🇺🇸[]
As this episode was released on President's Day, the Doughboys choose their favorite presidents who they would carve on to some mountain.
Nick's choices are Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Abraham Lincoln, Barack Obama, and Lyndon B. Johnson.
Mitch picks John Adams (from Quincy, MA), John Quincy Adams as a boy on his father John Adams' lap (also from Quincy), the large 340-lb. William Taft in a bathtub, and James Garfield (represented by Garfield).

Ike's[]
The Doughboys previously reviewed Ike's at a live show in San Francisco two years before this episode. Ike Shehadeh also made an appearance at that show. This isn't a full review of the restaurant, but Ike brought with him three sandwiches (#98 Jayme Sirewich, #346 John Wayne, #409 Hugh Hefner). Mitch and Nick loved them all can't be bought.
In turn, Nick and Mitch try to convince Ike to create a Doughboys Sandwich for his massive menu. They have two options: to make a goofy sandwich that would go on the menu but be buried and not promoted, or to try to make a good one. They choose the latter.
Nick and Mitch then argue about what ingredients they would want on their sandwich. Unfortunately, they sort of get derailed and don't really come up with a proposal for the Ike's Doughboys Sandwich. They seem to be leaning to a fried-chicken sandwich with some sort of special sauce.
