As one of the Doughboys favorite Mexican chains, Del Taco received a bye straight into the Semifinals of the Mouth of the Border 🌮🌯 Tournament. There it faced off against QDOBA and was immediately and surprisingly defeated. This however kicked it into the Finals of Fat Chance Kitchen for another shot at making it into the Finals, but it again lost (this time to Poquito Más). It was fed to Bruce the shark from Jaws, who swallowed it down, eliminating Del Taco from the Tournament.
