In the first round of the 2017 Tournament, Wendy's Chicken Sandwich defeated Chick-fil-A's. This led to the first round of Fat Chance Kitchen, where Chick-fil-A matched up against Panda Express, and won, advancing to the next round of the Loser's Bracket. This led to a match-up between the two winners of Fat Chance Kitchen, Church's and Chick-fil-A. Chick-fil-A lost and was eliminated from the Chicken Fight.

In episode 12, Chick-fil-A had the scores to qualify for the Golden Plate Club, but they initially denied its entry because of the founder's politics. However, this lasted one episode, and after some reconsideration, it was allowed in during episode 13.
