There are different Tournament rules for Fat Chance Kitchen than regular episodes:

1. Salad is valid. No sandwiches.
2. It's the lettuce wrap: lettuce wraps count as a salad.
3. Soup is on!
4. Chips don't get the slip. Chips also includes fries.
5. Cookies aren't ookie.

Both Capriotti's and Quiznos made it to the Fat Chance Kitchen Finals by way of the Sub-stitution.

Capriotti's replaced both Jimmy John's and Panera and promptly defeated Firehouse Subs, putting it in the Finals of Fat Chance Kitchen.

Quiznos replaced Subway, but then lost to Arby's, so it also moved into the Finals.
