Synopsis[]

Plus, a new segment, Plank Check.
Nick's intro[]
On December 15th, 1966, Walt Disney died of complications from lung cancer at the age of 65. Just three months later, on March 18th, 1967, Disneyland simultaneously debuted Walt’s final theme-park brainchildren: Pirates of the Caribbean, an indoor or “dark” water ride that took passengers on a swashbuckling adventure cursed with dark mysticism, and, within the same building, the park’s first fine-dining restaurant.
While the ride re-created cannon battles in the briny deep and pirate plundering of coastal villages — later retrofitted to mute problematic elements — the accompanying eatery was an immersive simulacrum of a tranquil Gulf Coast evening, complete with cricket sound effects and dots of light meant to signify fireflies. The dark ride’s layout meant that passenger-filled Pirates of the Caribbean boats encircled and even plunged beneath the restaurant’s dining room.
Over the years, the menu has evolved to embrace contemporary white-tablecloth trends like seasonal, locally-sourced produce, though one item from its 1967 iteration remains: the deep-fried Monte Cristo Sandwich for parkgoers with constitutions as brave as a buccaneer.
Today with locations at the original Disneyland and Tokyo Disneyland, and a similar beach-based Lagoon concept in Disneyland Paris, this progenitor of in-park fine dining continues to feed hungry patrons with the foresight to reserve a table months in advance via the inscrutable Genie Plus app. And while it’s no longer the only game in town for a fancy meal on Disneyland grounds, it remains the one spot where you can have a bite down at the bayou.
This week on Doughboys, Yarrrctdoughbarrrchest, a month of pirate-themed eating, drinking, and revelry, concludes, with Blue Bayou.
"Yo dough, yo dough, a pirate's bite for me!"

Mitch went to Blue Bayou with Scott Carlson and previous guest, Kyle Mooney. Nick arrived later, so they saved him leftovers from the meal, and he seems to have tried everything. Jason and Mike did not go with them, but based their score on past experiences. Kyle records a drop with his review and score.
Spoonman's Bite of the Night went to the Filet Mignon.
Mitch, Nick, Scott, and Kyle also had drinks at the Carthay Circle Lounge at Disneyland. Mitch had the Carthay Mai Tai. Scott had the Carthay Manhattan.
Jen D'Angelo also provides a drop where she claims she was supposed to be the guest for this episode, and now she hates Wiger for having to reschedule.
Plank Check[]
In this segment, Nick provides some pirate-themed food and activities and they decide if they are in or out on them.
The foods are what pirates ate based on a carbon analysis extracted from the bones of 18th-century pirates.
They have to decide if they'd welcome it on board or make it walk the plank.
